Good lighting
The better the lighting, the better the illustration! Our designers work directly on the photo you upload. For the best outcome and most accurate colors, please make sure your image is well lit.
Positioning
Try to get a close up and straight on shot of your pet. When your pet is laying down it's harder for our designers to make an amazing illustration. Try to avoid taking photos from overhead. Remember not to leave their ears out of frame, especially if they're especially pointy or floppy! Our designers can only work with what's in the photo.
Accessories
Our designers work directly off the image that is uploaded. Any accessories on people or pets will be in the illustration. Bandanas, leashes, purses, hats, etc. will all be included so make sure what is in the image you would like on your illustration.
